• Bacs (Direct Credits and Direct Debits)
• The Faster Payments System (FPS)

Role Overview:

Vocalink's Commercial team, part of the Product Management division, seeks a Commercial Manager to support the ongoing operation of its services. The candidate will assist with contract management, cost control, pricing, risk, and regulatory matters.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the Product Team and collaborating with Finance on commercial financial matters.
• Understanding the team's financials, revenue, and cost drivers.
• Identifying opportunities to improve financial performance through analysis and challenge.
• Supporting bids, business cases, and pricing using financial modelling.
• Understanding key contracts and ensuring compliance.
• Providing feedback on contractual drafts, highlighting risks.
• Developing practical solutions for business challenges and contract negotiations.
• Understanding regulatory impacts and implications.
• Overseeing billing and price change controls.
• Providing ad hoc support through deep dives and response coordination.

• Qualified accountants preferred
• Skilled in understanding complex contracts and regulations
• Proficient in financial modelling and analysis
• Excellent communicators, both verbal and written
• Capable of simplifying complex information
