Job Description (Commercial Manager)

This position is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Commercial Manager to join our client, an expanding large-format digital printing company. Our client produces high-quality graphics for the museum, workplace and exhibition sectors. With a range of original and innovative display and graphic products, they have become the supplier of choice for many prestigious organisations.

Responsibilities
  • Direct key client accounts
  • Business development
  • Drive new business across new accounts not existing clients
  • Create new commercial relationships
  • Conduct project meetings, site surveys and supervise site installations
  • Attend project meetings with architects, designers and construction professionals
  • Deliver bespoke and imaginative solutions to client briefs
  • Liaise with production department and suppliers to manage work flow and quality
  • Appreciate the designer's vision and goal; then offer products and services with imagination and enthusiasm
  • Gain a full understanding of what can be achieved and communicate that effectively to clients' commercial advantage
  • Estimating
  • Financial management
  • Senior level management
  • Manage sales, admin and production teams and be responsible for them
  • Overview and refine current working practices
  • Organise and run monthly leadership team meetings
Requirements
  • 5+ years' experience in a large-format printing senior management role
  • Excellent knowledge of print and graphic production processes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, IT, administrative, and organisational skills
  • Excellent commercial judgement and financial understanding
  • Excellent commercial acumen and experience
  • Excellent senior leadership and management skills
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative, self-reliance and sound decision making, and encourage others within a team to do the same
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
