A leading City-led, international law firm is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate Solicitor in Manchester to join its highly regarded cross-office Commercial Disputes team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-quality national and cross-border disputes while building your profile within a Legal 500 practice known for innovation and collaboration.

As a Commercial Litigation Associate Solicitor in Manchester, you'll gain exposure to a broad range of contentious matters across multiple sectors, working closely with experienced partners while developing your own caseload and client relationships.

The Role:
  • Advising on a broad range of commercial litigation matters including contractual disputes and commercial claims
  • Handling disputes across litigation, arbitration and alternative dispute resolution
  • Working on public law disputes, professional negligence, injunctions and reputation management issues
  • Supporting on contentious insolvency matters and cross-border disputes
  • Managing your own caseload with appropriate autonomy and minimal supervision
  • Assisting partners and senior lawyers on complex, high-value matters
  • Building strong client relationships and delivering commercially focused advice
  • Collaborating with national and international teams across the firm
The Candidate:
  • Qualified Solicitor with 4+ years PQE in commercial litigation
  • Strong contentious experience across a broad range of disputes
  • Experience in insolvency is beneficial but not essential
  • Confident managing your own caseload independently
  • Commercially minded with strong technical and analytical skills
  • Excellent organisation and time-management capabilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional and effective when dealing with clients and stakeholders
