Job Description
The Commercial Litigation Legal Director will deal with a range of work and responsibilities including;
- Advising large corporate clients on a range of commercial litigation matters including heavy weight IT disputes, contractual disputes and procurement disputes.
- Manage and oversee high-value and complex disputes.
- Lead and mentor a team of lawyers with help from Partners.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Take an active role in business development.
- Lead on all forms of ADR.
The Successful Applicant
The successful Commercial Litigation Legal Director should have / be;
- A track record in Commercial Litigation gained from a national or international law firm.
- A strong academic background
- Proven ability to manage and resolve complex legal disputes effectively.
- Exceptional leadership skills with experience in mentoring and managing legal teams.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- A proactive approach to business development and client relationship management.
- Ties to Leeds
