Commercial Gas Engineer (CHP)

£40,000 - £45,000 + Up to £10,000 Bonus + Overtime + Company Van + Training + Progression + Excellent Company Benefits

Field Based Role, Ideally Located: Manchester, Leeds, Yorkshire, Sheffield & Surrounding Area's

Are you an experienced Engineer with a background in CHP, generators, gas engines or similar, looking to join a well-established company offering excellent training, progression and the opportunity to significantly increase your earnings through bonus and overtime?

This company has built an excellent reputation within the industry and continues to grow due to ongoing demand for its specialist services. As a result, they are now looking to add an experienced CHP Engineer to their team.

In this role, you will be travelling to commercial and industrial sites, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, servicing, fault finding and repairs on CHP systems and associated equipment.

The role would suit a CHP Engineer or Engineer from a generator, gas engine, power generation or similar background, looking for a long-term position with a reputable company that offers excellent earning potential, training and career progression.

The Role:
  • Planned and reactive maintenance of CHP systems
  • Servicing, fault finding and repairs on CHP engines and associated equipment
  • Carrying out preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs
  • Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
  • Travelling to commercial and industrial customer sites
  • Completing service reports and maintenance documentation
  • Working as part of an experienced engineering team
  • Overtime and on-call opportunities available
The Person:
  • Experience working on CHP systems, gas engines, generators or similar equipment
  • Strong mechanical and/or electrical engineering background
  • Experience carrying out fault finding, servicing and maintenance
  • Relevant engineering qualification or apprenticeship
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Comfortable working in a field-based role
  • Willingness to travel and work overtime when required
