Role Summary

The Commercial Financial Controller will oversee financial operations, commercial performance, and operational efficiency for a privately owned e commerce business. You will ensure strong financial governance while enabling profitable growth across digital, marketplace, and supply chain channels. This role suits a commercially minded leader who can blend strategic insight with hands on operational control.

• Financial Strategy - Lead budgeting, forecasting, cashflow management, and long range commercial modelling to support growth plans.
• Operational Finance - Strengthen inventory accuracy, optimise supply chain costs, and improve end to end operational efficiency.
• Commercial Analysis - Deliver actionable insights on margin performance, stock turns, promotional effectiveness, and trading trends.
• Team Leadership - Manage and develop finance professionals while partnering closely with operations, logistics, merchandising, and marketplace teams.
• Governance - Maintain robust financial controls, compliance, audit readiness, and risk management frameworks.

• ACA, ACCA, CIMA, MBA or equivalent preferred.
• 10+ years' leadership experience in e commerce, supply chain, retail, or marketplace environments.
• Strong operational, inventory, and supply chain management expertise.
• Proven experience leading cross functional teams in high growth environments.
• Strong analytical, commercial, and decision making skills.
