I'm delighted to be partnering with an established and thriving mid-sized construction business who are seeking an ambitious Commercial Finance Manager to join their high-performing finance function. The Role

As Commercial Finance Manager, you'll play a pivotal role across the finance function with a broad and varied remit including:

• Financial Reporting - Delivering accurate management accounts and insightful commentary to support business decision-making
• Business Partnering - Working closely with operational teams to drive performance and profitability
• FP&A - Leading budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling activities
• Business Strategy - Contributing to strategic planning initiatives and supporting long-term growth objectives
• Optimisation - Identifying process improvements and driving efficiency across the business

You'll have direct exposure to senior leadership and the Board, giving you a clear line of sight on how strategic decisions are made and implemented.

What We're Looking For

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Demonstrable experience in commercial finance, ideally with exposure to FP&A
• Strong business partnering and stakeholder management skills
• Commercially minded with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights
• Ambitious and eager to progress to Finance Director or similar senior leadership roles
• Construction or project-based industry experience is advantageous but not essential
