Job Description

  • Develop and implement commercial strategies to achieve sales targets and enhance profitability
  • Lead the sales team, providing guidance and ensuring alignment with business objectives
  • Analyse market trends and customer needs to identify new business opportunities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise product offerings and pricing strategies
  • Monitor financial performance and recommend actions to improve margins and revenue
  • Prepare and present sales forecasts, budgets, and reports to senior management
  • Foster strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations within the sales function

The Successful Applicant

A successful Commercial Controller should have:

  • Proven experience within the FMCG industry, particularly in a sales leadership role
  • Experience selling private label goods
  • Strong understanding of commercial strategy and financial management
  • Excellent analytical and decision-making skills to drive business growth
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and internal teams
  • Proficiency in preparing and managing budgets and forecasts
  • A results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets
  • Able to be in London 3 days a week
