Commercial Broking Compliance Business Partner

A well known and growing Insurance Broking group is seeking a Compliance Business Partner to provide high?quality compliance support across the business focusing on the Midlands. This is a key advisory role where you will act as a trusted partner to stakeholders, influencing decision?making and shaping how teams operate within a regulated environment.The role is Midlands?based and would suit a compliance professional with experience in an insurance broking environment, although candidates with strong compliance backgrounds from other areas of the UK insurance market will also be considered.You will work closely with senior leaders and operational teams, providing pragmatic guidance on regulatory requirements and supporting the embedding of a strong compliance culture.Key responsibilities include:

• Advising on FCA regulatory obligations, internal policies, and procedures
• Providing practical guidance on ICOBS and SMCR requirements
• Supporting teams across commercial and retail insurance to embed compliance into day?to?day activity
• Acting as a trusted point of contact for compliance queries
• Influencing and guiding stakeholders without formal line management responsibility

To be considered you must have a strong understanding of FCA compliance requirements across commercial and retail insurance ideally with experience in a commercial Broker.You will have working knowledge of ICOBS and SMCR, with the ability to confidently apply this within a commercial broking setting.
