We're supporting a large, well-established organisation in the North West as they undergo a significant commercial transformation.They're seeking a Commercial & Procurement Lead on an initial 2 year FTC to lead the development of strategic sourcing models, drive value, and influence senior stakeholders across the business.This high-impact role is ideal for someone with a strong procurement background and a passion for strategic change.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business transformation goals.
- Partner with senior leaders to shape commercial models and sourcing approaches.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives focused on cost optimisation, innovation, and ESG.
- Use market insights and supplier collaboration to inform strategic decisions.
- Act as a key advisor and escalation point for procurement and commercial teams.
- Strong experience in procurement strategy, commercial leadership, or transformation.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
- Proven track record in supplier management, cost control, and value delivery.
- Analytical mindset with a continuous improvement approach.
- Degree or professional qualification in procurement, supply chain, or business (preferred).
