Job Description
Site Clerk

We are seeking an organised and proactive Site Clerk to support the day to day administrative operations of a busy construction site. Reporting to the Project Manager, this role is key to ensuring smooth office operations, effective document control, and compliance across the project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide general office and site administration support
  • Manage stock control, ordering, and delivery tracking
  • Carry out clerical accounting duties including invoice processing, supplier records, timesheets, and basic cost tracking
  • Prepare, manage, and upload BCMS and compliance documentation
  • Coordinate house preparation and client handovers, including handover packs
  • Deliver site inductions and maintain induction records
  • Review and manage subcontractor safety files to ensure regulatory compliance
  • Maintain accurate digital and physical filing systems
  • Liaise with project teams, contractors, and suppliers as required
Requirements
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • Previous experience in a construction or site based role (preferred)
  • Knowledge of health & safety and BCMS processes
  • Previous clerical accounting or accounts administration experience is highly desirable
  • Confident communication skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
  • Correct PPE and a commitment to site safety
