College Shop Assistant (Truro)

About the Role

We are looking for a friendly and reliable College Shop Assistant to support the day to day running of our busy college shop. Working closely with the Shop Supervisor, you'll help create a welcoming environment while delivering excellent customer service to students, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide helpful, friendly, and efficient customer service
• Process sales and operate the till accurately
• Assist with stock control, deliveries, and merchandising
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and visually appealing shop environment
• Support the smooth running of the shop and maximise sales opportunities
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times

About You

We're looking for someone who:

• Has experience in a retail or customer facing environment
• Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Is organised, reliable, and punctual
• Has good IT skills, including working with tills or similar systems
• Works well under pressure and adapts to changing priorities
