Job Description
Overview

We are looking for experienced Learning Support Assistants for a lovely specialist college based in Mottingham.

Key Details
  • 3/5 days a week
  • 9am until 4pm
  • £13.69 per hour
  • Start date: ASAP
About the role

You will be working at a brilliant college; the students are aged between 16-19 years old. The role would be working as a learning support assistant to work alongside the students and to offer additional support to those whom need it. Applicants must have their Maths and English GCSE grade C or above & previous experience within a school or college setting.

About the college

We are working with an outstanding college that specialises in animal and agricultural courses. The students are aged between 16-19 years old, who have mild SEND needs. Students who attend this college would study or be interested in Agriculture, Horticulture, Dog Grooming, Animal Care, Saddlery, Floristry, Garden Design, Conservation and much more. Therefore, the successful applicant must enjoy working outdoors or with animals.

Location

There are good public transport links, it is a short walk from Mottingham station, however they also have free parking on site.

Benefits

There are a few sites across London, but this position is based on their Mottingham site. There is a temporary position unless stated otherwise. You will be required to have an up to date DBS, or be prepared to allow Axcis to process one on your behalf, in addition to other mandatory compliance checks in line with the DfE guidelines.
