College Learning Support Assistant

Axcis is looking for experienced Learner Support Assistants to work at a specialist college based in Acton, West London.
Key Responsibilities- Support students aged with mild SEND needs in a range of courses such as Agriculture, Horticulture, Dog Grooming, Animal Care, Saddlery, Floristry, Garden Design, Conservation, and more.
- Assist students in classroom and practical activities, typically outdoors or with animals.
- Work collaboratively with college staff to help students achieve their learning goals.
- Experience working in a similar field or having worked in a college setting.
- Enthusiasm for working outdoors or with animals.
- Must be prepared to provide an up-to-date DBS check or allow Axcis to process one on your behalf.
Monday Friday (3 or 5 days), 9:00 am - 4:30 pm with a 1 hour unpaid lunch. Pay: £14.25 per hour (PAYE). Start date: September 2026.
Location & AccessThe college is located in Acton, West London, and is accessible via public transport. Nearest stations: Acton Town or South Ealing.
