College Administrator (Learning Support)

The College is seeking to appoint a dynamic, enthusiastic and hardworking College Administrator (Learning Support) to support the Learning Support Department, and particularly the exam access arrangements, as well as administrative support across the College. Necessary training will be provided but you are expected to have excellent organisational, interpersonal and IT skills.
The post is available from 24 August 2026 on a permanent, part-time basis. The post holder will be required to work from 9.30am to 2.30pm on either 5 days per week (52.89%) or 4 days per week (42.31%) (with 30 minutes unpaid lunch break each day), term-time only (39 weeks per year). Based on 4 days per week, the days of work will be Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
It is anticipated that the post holder will spend the majority of their time working specifically in the Learning Support Department, but a flexible approach to working will be required according to demand and the time in the academic year.
The post requires commitment and excellent organisational skills. The post holder will spend a significant amount of the working day in a busy office environment and will involve face to face interactions with students.
The post carries an expectation for some occasional mandatory evening activities (Open Evenings). However, there are numerous optional opportunities for evening work (Interview Evenings for Students) so the post holder can explore additional remuneration if interested.
Department- The Department is housed in a specially designed area of the Priory Building, which includes an open plan area for students, and an office for one to one interviews with students.
- The post holder will work closely with the well established Department of seventeen other staff, who work closely as a team in a friendly and co operative manner.
4 days per week - the starting salary for this post is £11,092.41 (£26,217 FTE). Progression is on an annual increment scale to £11,190.15 (26,448 FTE) per annum.
5 days per week - the starting salary for this post is £13,866.17 (£26,217 FTE). Progression is on an annual increment scale to £13,988.35 (26,448 FTE) per annum.
