Marie Curie is looking for Collection Hosts to support our fundraising collections at local supermarkets, garden centres, high streets, and other venues. Collection Hosts play a key role in helping collections run smoothly and supporting volunteers on the day.

What You'll Do

• Liaise with the local fundraising team to coordinate collection logistics.
• Help promote collections locally and encourage people to volunteer (e.g., through social media or personal contacts).
• Build and maintain positive relationships with venues.
• Support securing future collection dates.
• Contact volunteers ahead of each collection to confirm arrangements.
• Act as the main point of contact on collection days.
• Distribute materials and answer volunteer questions.
• Process income after collections in line with Marie Curie and venue policies, including banking, paperwork, and thanking volunteers and venues.

Collection Periods

• The Great Daffodil Appeal: February - April
• Summer / Autumn collections
• Christmas collections (subject to venue availability)

Additional Information

This is a flexible role - collection dates will be arranged to suit your availability where possible. Full training is provided. All materials supplied, including an ID card.
