Tax Collection Employee Job Description The collection activities within the Tax Office of the Jura-Nord Vaudois and Broye-Vully consist of processing tax cases and collecting taxes owed by taxpayers. A good analytical capacity is essential for this position. Working within the litigation department provides the opportunity to actively contribute to the management of public finances and to help citizens fill out their tax returns fairly and equitably. Responsibilities Conduct work related to debt collection and bankruptcy procedures. Establish and monitor debtor files (classification and archiving). Respond at the counter, by phone, and in writing to requests made by taxpayers regarding tax or fee assessments. Invoice and collect various taxes (property tax, dog tax). Verify and process payment schedules. Required Qualifications Commercial employee or equivalent title with at least 3 years of professional experience in the field of tax collection and/or recovery. Excellent listening and analytical skills, as well as synthesis ability. A background check is required for this position.
