Note:
- Candidates should be based in Belgium, France, The Netherland or the UK
- The client will accept UK based candidates if they use an accredited umbrella company for this assignment
- 8 days a month at the office of which 4 days in the Brussels office is mandatory
Role Responsibilities
- Architectural Leadership: Define and implement end-to-end architecture solutions for IT initiatives, ensuring they meet functional, non-functional, and security requirements.
- Collaboration: Work with requirement owners, domain architects, and IT engineers to build high-quality solutions.
- Integration: Bridge the gap between Enterprise Architecture and IT delivery teams, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and domain target architectures.
- Community Contribution: Develop reusable solution patterns and building blocks and actively participate in the evolution of Solution Architecture and Software Engineering practices.
- Technical Competence: Apply knowledge of technology capabilities, functional architecture and delivery experience to define domain target architectures and roadmaps focused on the Collateral Management domain.
- Knowledge Sharing: Engage in communities of practice with other architects to share standard methodologies and lessons learned.
Profile Requirements
Experience:

[Must] Extensive experience working in Collateral Management domain as a business or solution architect who is easily able to converse with business (product management, business analysts etc).

[Must] Sufficient background in IT to be able to assimilate unfamiliar technologies quickly and apply to the end-2-end solution, converse with IT SMEs.

[Must] Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of post-trade market infrastructures and Enterprise Architecture frameworks (eg Open Agile Architecture or TOGAF)

[Must] Financial Services: Experience in the Financial Services industry and a good understanding of Collateral Management processes and the related regulatory environments

[Beneficial] Extensive experience in the IT industry, particularly as a solution architect on large-scale transformation projects.

Agile: Experience with large-scale agile projects, knowledge of agile working at scale and methods such as Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) would be beneficial.

Architectural Skills: Proficiency in Event Driven and Service-based architectures, microservices, and RESTful APIs.
Technical Knowledge:
- Familiarity with Mainframe in general.
- Familiarity with integration and data technologies, and experience with JavaScript Front End frameworks like Angular is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Cloud also beneficial.
