The role

We're on a mission to unlock the value of technology for our customers - helping them innovate, optimise, and grow. As the Data & AI Centre of Excellence (CoE) Lead, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our global strategy for one of the most transformative areas in technology.

You'll define and drive the Data & AI CoE's vision, bringing together innovation, market insights, and operational excellence to create industry leading services that deliver measurable business impact. Acting as both a strategic architect and culture ambassador, you'll guide global teams, collaborate across regions, and influence the evolution of SoftwareOne's Data & AI offerings worldwide.

What You'll Do:
  • Define and drive the global strategy for Data & AI Services, aligning the portfolio with evolving customer needs, partner priorities, and market opportunities.

  • Lead the Data & AI Centre of Excellence (CoE) - setting the strategic direction, governance framework, and roadmap that ensures consistency, innovation, and excellence worldwide.

  • Oversee the full service lifecycle, from concept and design through market validation, launch, and continuous improvement.

  • Collaborate across regions and other CoEs to ensure global alignment and effective local execution of Data & AI initiatives.

  • Support large and complex customer engagements - guiding pre sales and delivery teams, capturing learnings, and feeding insights back into the service portfolio.

  • Foster innovation by developing scalable, modern delivery models and accelerating the adoption of emerging Data & AI capabilities.

  • Inspire, coach, and empower a high performing global team, promoting growth, collaboration, and a culture of excellence.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders and technology partners, influencing strategic investments and shaping the future of SoftwareOne's Data & AI ecosystem.

What we need to see from you

  • Proven experience leading global or regional Data, AI, or Digital Transformation service portfolios within technology or professional services environments.

  • Deep understanding of modern data platforms, AI technologies, and cloud ecosystems across multiple providers.

  • Expertise in portfolio and service lifecycle management, from concept and design through global rollout and continuous improvement.

  • Strategic mindset with strong governance, communication, and influencing skills to drive alignment and decision making at all levels.

  • Demonstrated success leading distributed, cross functional teams across regions and disciplines.

  • Strong commercial and customer orientation, with a track record of driving innovation, scalability, and measurable business impact.

  • Ability to balance strategic vision with hands on leadership, inspiring teams while ensuring flawless execution.
