Job description: CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator - CNC Lathe

Pay Rate: £16.00 - £18 per hour (£18 for programming experience)
Hours: Monday-Thursday, 7:00am-5:00pm
Location:Stoke

We are looking for an experiencedCNC Programmer Setter / Operatorto join our manufacturing team, working primarily onCNC Lathes.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone with a solid background in manufacturing who takes pride in producing quality work and can work confidently in a fast-paced environment.

The Role

• Programmer, Setting and operating CNC lathes
• Reading and accurately interpreting engineering drawings
• Producing components to the required quality and specification
• Carrying out basic inspection and quality checks
• Identifying and resolving practical production issues
• Working efficiently to meet production targets and deadlines
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience as aCNC Setter / Operator, with CNC turning/lathe experience
• Confident inreading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Solid background in manufacturing
• Practical, hands-on approach to problem solving
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Reliable, hardworking and able to use initiative
• Comfortable working as part of a team
