Job Description
CNC Machinist / Programmer

Bromborough Permanent £18 per hour + late shift allowance

We are recruiting an experienced CNC Machinist / Programmer to join our client's manufacturing team in Bromborough. You will program, set and operate 3, 4 and 5 axis CNC machining centres, producing precision components mainly in aluminium and stainless steel. You will also provide technical support to CNC operators.

Shifts

Days: Mon-Thu 08:00-16:30, Fri 08:00-14:00
Lates: Mon-Thu 16:30-01:00, Fri 14:00-20:00 (shift allowance applies)

Key Duties

  • Program, set and run CNC machining centres

  • Read and work from engineering drawings

  • Produce parts to tight tolerances

  • First-off inspection and self-checking

  • Support production staff and report issues

  • Basic machine maintenance and housekeeping

  • Follow production plans and H&S procedures

Requirements

  • CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Siemens and/or Heidenhain control experience preferred

  • Able to work independently and as part of a team

  • Flexible to work shifts

  • Well organised with good communication skills
