CNC Miller - Programmer/Setter/Operator

Bowmill Poole is currently seeking a CNC Miller Programmer.

Your main responsibilities will involve;

• Programming, setting and operating CNC MILLS with FANUC or Siemens operating control system to produce prismatic components to customer drawings and specifications
• Producing offline and online CNC programs using CAD/CAM software. Experience of Edgecam and Solidworks software/programming is an advantage but not essential
• Inspection of your own work to drawing and SPC requirements
• Maintain your area to a high standard of 5C/5S

Your skills and qualifications as a fully skilled CNC Miller Programmer/Setter/Operator:

• Completed a recognised apprenticeship in mechanical engineering
• General high standard of engineering ability - fully skilled
• Working knowledge of fourth and fifth axis machines is an advantage

What we are looking for in you:

Adept with FANUC Controls and have solid experience in the aerospace industry.
