CNC Machinist (Turning)

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established precision engineering company for an experienced CNC Machinist (Turner / Turning) to join their skilled engineering team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a stable and growing manufacturer producing high-precision components across a range of sectors. As a CNC Machinist (Turner / Turning) you will be responsible for the full setting, operation and programming of CNC turning machines to produce precision components from detailed engineering drawings. This role would suit a machinist who is confident working independently, can interpret drawings accurately, and takes pride in producing high-quality work to tight tolerances.

• Setting, operating and programming CNC turning machines

• Conversational programming (Siemens control advantageous)

• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings

• Selecting appropriate tooling and understanding machining processes

• Producing precision-engineered components to specification

• Conducting in-process inspection and quality checks

• Working efficiently and accurately to deadlines
