CNC Machinist - Off the Tools (Tooling & Setup Support)

Up to £19.00 per hour Day Shift Early Finish Friday

• No full-time machine operating
• Focus on tooling, setup prep, and organisation
• Less physical, but still hands-on

Play a key role in keeping production running smoothly

• Prepare tooling, fixtures, and gauges for upcoming jobs
• Check job packs and setup requirements for accuracy
• Ensure everything is ready before it reaches the machine
• Monitor tooling stock and flag shortages
• Support machinists with urgent jobs when needed

• Step away from full-time machining
• Use your experience in a more structured role
• Stay in engineering without the same physical demands

• CNC machinist / setter / programmer background
• Strong tooling and machining knowledge
• Good attention to detail
• Team player
