CNC Machine Shop Operative

A well-established manufacturing company is seeking an experienced CNC Machine Operative to join its Machine Shop on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to join a long-standing and supportive team.

Hours: 48 hours per week

• Monday-Thursday: 06:00-16:30

• Friday: 06:00-14:30

Pay: £13.74 per hour + enhanced overtime rates

Role Duties

• CNC turning and milling

• Manual turning, milling and drilling

• Processing parts in line with engineering drawings, techniques and work instructions

• Carrying out occasional inspections, including first-off checks

• Supporting general shop-floor duties as required

• Previous CNC and manufacturing experience

• Strong timekeeping and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines

• Good literacy and numeracy skills

• Strong problem-solving ability

• Able to work with minimal supervision

• Positive, can-do attitude
