Are you an experienced CNC Grinder looking to work with world-class precision engineering products? This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly respected manufacturing business producing complex, high-tolerance components in a modern machining environment.

Working within a skilled engineering team, you'll play a key role in the manufacture of precision-machined components while contributing to continuous improvement and operational excellence across the department.

The Role

• Set and operate CNC cylindrical and universal grinding machines
• Manufacture high-precision components to exacting quality standards
• Edit and optimise CNC programmes using Fanuc controls
• Interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
• Carry out quality checks using precision measuring equipment
• Support continuous improvement and health & safety initiatives across the machine shop

Requirements Essential

• Experience setting and operating CNC grinding machinery
• Strong understanding of cylindrical and universal grinding processes
• Knowledge of Fanuc CNC controls
• Ability to work from engineering drawings and specifications
• Previous experience within a busy manufacturing environment

Desirable

• Ability to programme Fanuc controls from drawing
• CNC grinding programming experience
• Apprenticeship or recognised engineering qualification
• Experience working to tight tolerances in a precision engineering environment
