We have an exciting new opportunity to join our world renowned client as a CMM Operative on a full time, permanent basis. This company offers a state of the art purpose built premises that provides a modern and clean working environment with progression opportunities in the future.

Duties within the role of CMM Operative are:

• Responsible for measurement and analysis for all patterns and castings
• Responsible for one Faro scanning arm / one Hexagon scanning arm / one Hexagon co-ordinate measurement machine
• CMM accuracy checks
• Utilising general quality inspection techniques and manual measurement equipment (Vernier's, Micrometres, Gauges) to inspect a variety of parts ranging from small precision components through to large components
• Documenting quality issues and reporting Non conformances

We would expect the successful CMM Operative to be able to demonstrate previous experience within a similar role within an engineering / manufacturing environment. This role would be ideal for someone who has worked as a Quality Inspector or with a Faro Scanning arm, one hexagon scanning arm or hexagon co-ordinate measurement machine within a castings or heavy engineering environment. Similarly there would be training opportunities for anyone who has worked as a CNC machinist with the ability to understand CAD drawings. An understanding of working with micrometres, Verniers and Gauges and calibration techniques would be ideal.

• Shift times include; AM shift is Mon - Thurs 6am - 2pm Fri 5am - 1pm
• PM shift is Mon - Thur 2pm - 10pm, Fri 1pm - 9pm
