• Location: OEM Site in Solihull / Fulltime onsite
• Shifts: Monday to Thursday - 7:00 am - 4:00 pm, Fridays - 7:00 am - 13:30 pm
• Overtime available midweek and weekends

Summary

We are seeking a skilled CMM Operator to join our customers dynamic team in the automotive sector.

This role is crucial in ensuring precision and quality throughout our production processes.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to ensure accurate measurements
• Conduct regular inspections and tests on components to ensure compliance with quality standards
• Analyze measurement data and provide detailed reports on findings
• Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve measurement-related issues
• Develop and implement inspection plans for new products

Skills Required

• Strong understanding of GD&T and drawing interpretation
• Able to operate 3D scanners using Polyworks software
• Able to operate and write CMM programmes using PCDMIS software for all manner of parts
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
• Familiarity with quality assurance methodologies and tools
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Proficiency in using CMM software and related measurement tools
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members
• Relevant certifications in quality control or measurement are preferrred
