A fast-growing B2B SaaS company working across cloud, data and AI is hiring a Cloud Security Engineer to help secure modern AWS-based platforms and emerging AI workloads.

This is a hands-on engineering role focused on automation, detection engineering and incident response, not manual security gatekeeping.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement AWS security controls using defence-in-depth principles
• Automate cloud security controls and response workflows using Python, Bash and IaC
• Build, tune and maintain high-value detections using frameworks such as MITRE ATTACK
• Respond to and triage security incidents across cloud and SaaS environments
• Partner closely with engineers to embed security into CI/CD pipelines

Essential Experience (Non-Negotiable)

• Strong hands-on AWS experience (practical delivery, not certifications only)
• Python and/or Bash used for security automation
• Terraform or CloudFormation for deploying security controls
• Experience with at least three of: CNAPP, CSPM, EDR, SOAR, SIEM
• Prior experience responding to security alerts or incidents
