Your new role
As a Cloud engineer (Azure), you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and supporting secure and scalable cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. You'll be responsible for managing core Azure services, automating deployments using Infrastructure as Code, and ensuring high availability and compliance across all cloud environments. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about cloud innovation and security.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and deploying resilient Azure infrastructure
  • Administering Azure resources across compute, storage, networking, and identity
  • Automating provisioning using Terraform or ARM templates
  • Monitoring performance and availability of cloud services
  • Enforcing security best practices and compliance standards
  • Supporting workload migrations from on-premises to Azure
  • Maintaining disaster recovery and backup strategies
  • Driving continuous improvement through innovation and collaboration

What you'll need to succeed

  • 5+ years working in cloud environments, with a focus on Microsoft Azure
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
  • ITIL v4 Foundation
  • Strong hands-on experience with Azure services including VMs, Storage, Networking, Azure AD, Key Vault, Security Center, and Policy
  • Experience with container services (AKS, OpenShift)
  • Proficiency in Scripting (PowerShell, Bash) and automation
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (VPN, DNS, Firewalls)
  • Knowledge of cloud identity and access control (RBAC, MFA, conditional access)
  • Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools
  • Strong documentation and communication skills
