About the role:
The Cloud Engineer is a member of the Cloud Operations Automation team and is responsible for the reliability, security, and efficiency of Change Healthcare's cloud environments and products that comprise Enterprise Imaging solutions. The engineer will participate in activities including continuous delivery, configuration changes, performance monitoring, and ensuring high availability of systems. The engineer will lead incident management processes, including triaging and resolution of incidents.
You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within the U.K. as you take on some tough challenges.
Primary Responsibilities of the Cloud Engineer:
- Develops software tools for the cloud operations team.
- Defines and drives automation of cloud operations and deployment using various tools.
- Implements Cloud Operations procedures.
- Designs and implements reliable cloud infrastructure.
- Provides 24 7 shift-based support with rotating on-call duties.

Required Qualifications of the Cloud Engineer:
- Experience in automation and administration of IT systems, including compute resources, network, storage, and access control.
- Proven success in managing cloud infrastructure and applications in public clouds such as GCP (Preferred), AWS, or Azure.
- Strong programming skills in languages like Python, Node.js, or others.
- Experience with CI/CD processes, Kubernetes, or Terraform IaC pipelines.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of cloud networking, security, logging, and monitoring tools.
- Solid understanding of Linux/Windows operating systems.
- Proficiency with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Ansible.
