83zero are hiring a Cloud Engineer to join a global IT consultancy delivering enterprise-scale cloud transformation projects across EMEA.


This is a hands-on engineering role focused on designing, automating, and securing cloud-native infrastructure in AWS and GCP environments. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to build scalable, secure, and resilient cloud platforms.


What You'll Do

  • Design and implement cloud infrastructure using AWS and GCP
  • Build and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and CloudFormation
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines (CodePipeline, GitLab CI/CD)
  • Implement cloud-native networking and security architectures
  • Automate infrastructure and configuration management using Ansible, AWS SSM, and scripting tools
  • Support containerized workloads (EKS, Fargate) and serverless architectures
  • Ensure compliance with cloud security controls and best practices
  • Contribute to disaster recovery planning and implementation in cloud environments
  • Collaborate with DevOps and security teams to embed DevSecOps principles


What You Bring

  • Proven experience with AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform
  • Strong background in Linux and Windows system administration
  • Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines
  • Hands-on knowledge of container orchestration (EKS, Fargate)
  • Familiarity with NoSQL databases (DynamoDB, Neptune, DocumentDB)
  • Deep understanding of cloud networking and VPC design
  • Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, Go, Ansible)
  • Experience implementing cloud security controls and DR strategies
  • DevSecOps mindset and experience embedding security into the development lifecycle
