Clinical Support Officer - Band 3The closing date is 11 March 2026
The post holder will be required to work within a multi-disciplinary age independent 24/7 Adult Mental Health Front Door and Home treatment service. The Mental health access hub and Home Treatment Team provides a service to people who are experiencing an acute psychiatric crisis (functional or Organic) who require urgent assessment to determine the required interventions using the least restrictive environment to facilitate recovery within the community.
The post is designed to deliver a dual function of clinical (at the discretion of the service leads) and administrative support to the team. This will include responsibilities around key tasks relating to the efficient team functioning.
The post holder will adhere to all organisational systems and processes; the post holder will contribute to service development and be required to undertake delegated responsibilities as appropriate whilst upholding the visions and values of the organisation.
Main duties of the jobProvide an administrative service including word processing, drafting, and producing meetings and Clinical Review notes and reports where required.
Undertaking general office duties as required including filing, collating and distributing information.
Maintain all spreadsheets and databases including the production of regular information reports as required.
Be responsible for organising and servicing team meetings/events as required, including room bookings, note taking, transcription and circulation.
Provide flexible administrative and clinical cover as required.
Work flexibly, primarily 9-5, gathering information from a variety of sources as requested by the Team.
Provide feedback of any clinical information to the Team.
Maintain contemporaneous clinical documentation using electronic and other means with appropriate supervisions and support.
Liaise with other professionals external to the team as appropriate.
Assist with clinical work as and when required and take part in the formulation of outcome plans devised in collaboration with the service user and other professionals and carers.

QualificationsKnowledge & Skills
- Ability to pay attention to detail
- Good Communication Skills both written and verbal
- Experience of working with a range of Microsoft Office packages (eg. Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Experience of working within a mental health setting
