Position Overview

We are looking for a qualified Sonographer experienced in General, Gynaecology and small parts to join our small friendly team. Vascular and MSK experience is desirable but not essential.

Fort William, situated at the foot of Britain's highest mountain and the "outdoor capital of the UK", offers a superb lifestyle for those who enjoy fresh air and outdoor activities. It has excellent schools and is within reach of Glasgow and Inverness, while also providing access to the beautiful Highlands.

Responsibilities

You will participate in the day to day running of the Ultrasound Scanning service at The Belford Hospital and also at Broadford Hospital, Skye, working closely with existing sonographers. You may be expected to provide cover for both hospitals.

Qualifications

• HCPC registered Radiographer or relevant professional qualification
• Postgraduate CASE accredited qualification in medical ultrasound
• Demonstrated clinical competence across a range of ultrasound examinations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A proactive and collaborative approach to service delivery and staff development
