Provide comprehensive administrative support to a team of clinicians, enabling clinicians to operate effectively and efficiently. Work in accordance with standard operating procedures.

What we'll need you to bring- SVQ level 2 qualification (or equivalent experience) plus experience in healthcare administration or a secretarial role
- Understanding of medical terminology
- Evidence of effective team working and dealing with change
- Evidence of strong communication skills with patients, clinicians, and colleagues
- Excellent organisational skills
- Strong competence with relevant IT systems
- Audio typing skills
Please note: for all vacancies where a driving licence is required, it must be a full UK/EU/EEA licence.
It would be great if you also have- General secretarial background
- Experience as a Medical Secretary
- Knowledge of WinScribe and TrakCare systems
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word for Windows)
- Accurate spelling
- Sound knowledge of digital dictation systems and TrakCare
Permanent, Full-time, 37 hours
Location and Working PatternThis role will be based in Medical Admin + Clerical within University Hospital Monklands.
The working pattern for this role is Weekdays.
