Summary

NHS Jobs is seeking a dedicated Clinical Pharmacist to join our pharmacy team. The role involves collaborating with staff within the pharmacy department and across the Trust to achieve organizational objectives, ensuring compliance with Medicines Management standards, and meeting Clinical Governance and Risk Management requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, deliver, and evaluate clinical pharmacy services across various specialties.
  • Ensure adherence to statutory requirements and standards set by the General Pharmaceutical Council and the Royal Pharmaceutical Society.
  • Assist in developing pharmacy services aligned with the Trust's needs and those of affiliated organizations.
  • Lead projects to enhance patient care quality and manage drug budgets effectively within clinical specialties.
  • Supervise junior pharmacy staff and students.

Requirements

  • Qualified Pharmacist registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
  • Experience in clinical pharmacy services and medicines management.
  • Strong knowledge of medicines reconciliation and optimization.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
