Clinical Nurse Specialist - Upper GI cancer

The shift pattern for this post is Monday to Friday.
The Clyde General Surgical Department is seeking a suitably qualified senior Surgical nurse with previous experience and an interest in Oncology.
The post-holder will take a lead role in ongoing development and support of the Upper GI service within the Clyde remit. They will be responsible for working within a multi-disciplinary team to provide and facilitate comprehensive, co-ordinated and effective care and treatment for patients with Upper GI cancer/disease. It is recognised that this may be achieved either directly through personal contact with the patient, or indirectly through a combination of, or focus on, one of the following: leadership, facilitation, teaching, research/audit, consultation and provision of hospital wide Upper GI based nursing policies and protocols.
