We are hiring a Clinical Nurse Manager for one of the best Nursing Homes in Co Cork who is passionate about improving the quality of life of their residents and places a strong importance on social, physical, and mental stimulation.
Immediate Service Requirement: This role is open only to applicants who hold EU/EEA citizenship or have an existing, unrestricted right to work in Ireland.
Responsibilities- Support the Person in Charge / Unit Manager in providing strong clinical and professional leadership
- Deliver high-quality, safe, and effective care in accordance with NMBI standards
- Ensure care is person-centred, respecting residents' rights, dignity, and autonomy
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualised care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
- Lead, mentor, and supervise nursing and care staff during shifts
- Build and maintain positive relationships with residents and their families to enhance wellbeing
- Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential clinical documentation
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all residents
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and ongoing team development
- Registered General or Psychiatric Nurse on the NMBI register (or eligible for registration)
- Minimum two years' post-graduate experience, including experience at Senior Staff Nurse or Clinical Nurse Manager level
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development (CPD)
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Clear commitment to person-centred care
- Fluent written and spoken English, Garda clearance, and satisfactory professional references
