Clinical Nurse Manager 3

About the Role

Avista is a person-centred, rights-based organisation dedicated to improving the lives of children and adults with intellectual disabilities. We provide services across Dublin, Limerick and North Tipperary and are looking for a Clinical Nurse Manager (3) to lead our Community Residential Service in Dublin.

Key Responsibilities

• Exhibit excellent leadership skills and work independently on initiatives.
• Demonstrate effective leadership, managerial and people management skills, and the capacity to manage change.
• Work on projects as directed by the Service Manager.
• Support staff teams in delivering high quality care for service users with behaviours of concern and complex care needs.
• Maintain compliance with the HIQA standards/regulations and Health Act 2007, ensuring a high standard post initial registration visit by HIQA.
• Coordinate services with multidisciplinary team members and external agencies.

Qualifications

• NMBI Registration in the RNID division.
• Recognised Management Qualification - FETAC/QQI Level 6 or equivalent.
• Minimum two years' experience at CNM2/PIC level in intellectual disability services.
• Full clean driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Proficiency in the English language.
• Level 3 behavioural competencies of the Avista competency framework.
