Job DescriptionWe are hiring a Clinical Nurse Manager 2 -Endoscopy (Part-Time 24hrs substantive post) for a hospital located in Tralee, Ireland.
Responsibilities
Ensure delivery of high-quality patient care by applying an evidence-based approach and adhering to current clinical guidelines and professional standards.
Provide strong professional and clinical leadership , promoting excellence in nursing practice and acting as a role model for the multidisciplinary team.
Oversee quality assurance within the designated clinical area, maintaining high standards of practice and ensuring the effective and efficient allocation of resources.
Manage staffing levels effectively , supporting workforce planning, skill mix optimisation, and safe staffing ratios.
Promote staff development and practice improvement initiatives , facilitating continuous professional development, mentorship, and performance enhancement within the nursing team.
Coordinate the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care in accordance with Bon Secours Health System standards and established clinical governance frameworks.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols, hospital policies, and best practice guidelines , fostering a culture of patient safety and risk management.
RequirementsMinimum of five years post-registration clinical experience , demonstrating progressive responsibility in acute healthcare settings.
Registered General Nurse on the active register of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland , holding current registration with Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
Annual NMBI registration maintained and in good standing , in compliance with professional regulatory requirements.
Strong leadership and communication skills , with the ability to effectively coordinate multidisciplinary teams and foster collaborative working relationships.
Demonstrated clinical expertise , alongside experience in clinical auditing, governance, quality improvement initiatives, and operational management.
Management qualification and/or formal leadership training desirable , with proven experience in supervising staff, workforce planning, and service development.
