Job Description
Clinical Lab Technician III

Experienced laboratory technician supporting analytical, production, and quality activities across regulated environments, with responsibility for technical procedures, data integrity, and process improvement. Operates with a high level of autonomy while contributing to project execution and mentoring junior staff.

Responsibilities
  • Performs a variety of technical procedures including preparation of routine solutions, reagents, and execution of standard laboratory reactions
  • Makes and records observations, performs calculations, and collects and prepares data for evaluation and reporting
  • Supports laboratory operations including stocking supplies, setting up and dismantling apparatus, and maintaining glassware
  • Ensures all technical and record-keeping activities comply with company and regulatory standards for quality and accuracy
  • Conducts analysis of compounds and may manage corporate compound collections
  • Executes technical procedures across Production, R&D, Quality Control/Assurance, and Compliance/Environmental areas
  • Provides technical support in testing, troubleshooting, and process improvement using schematics, diagrams, and defined procedures
  • Gathers, formats, and analyses technical data using established methods and performs detailed calculations
  • Identifies and proposes process improvements to optimise workflows and efficiency
  • Operates with limited supervision, planning and executing assigned activities and supporting minor projects
  • Interprets test data, develops reports, and communicates findings to relevant stakeholders
  • Provides guidance, coaching, and training to junior team members
Requirements
  • Minimum of 4 years' relevant laboratory or technical experience within a regulated environment
  • Broad knowledge of laboratory operations, systems, techniques, and industry practices
  • Experience supporting production, R&D, quality, or compliance functions
  • Strong data handling, analysis, and reporting capabilities with attention to detail
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and propose effective solutions
  • Experience working independently with limited supervision while managing priorities
  • Strong communication skills with ability to convey technical information internally
  • Relevant vocational or technical qualification or equivalent industry experience
