Carry out phlebotomy (if trained). Conduct ECGs, peak flow tests, and other diagnostic checks.
Support long term condition reviews (e.g., diabetes, hypertension) under nurse direction.
Undertake NHS Health Checks and lifestyle assessments.
Measure height, weight, BMI, and assist with basic health screening.
Perform wound care, simple dressings, and suture removal (if trained). Collect and process specimens (urine, swabs). Administer vaccinations (only if appropriately trained and authorised). Prepare and maintain clinical rooms, ensuring infection control standards are met.
Assist clinicians during minor procedures and examinations.
