An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and innovative individual to work as a Clinical Nurse Educator within Critical Care in NHS Tayside.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Clinical Educator who can make a meaningful contribution to supporting excellence in clinical nursing practice. The Clinical Educator will play an integral role in the management and delivery of education and staff development.

We are looking for an experienced, person centred, professional individual with a passion for teaching and who has extensive critical care experience.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced Critical Care nurses who already possess postgraduate qualifications in teaching, critical care or significant equivalent experience. Ideally you should be educated to master's degree level or have the ability to demonstrate working at master's degree level appropriate to this clinical area. You should have evidence of significant post registration professional practice experience with substantial experience in the Critical Care to undertake and fulfil the key areas for required for this post.

. Applicants must have relevant experience within a Critical Care setting. A post-basic qualification within the specialty would be desirable. Additionally, applicants should demonstrate evidence of continuous professional development, and have a degree level qualification, desirable to be progressing towards Masters Qualification.

You must be registered on Sub-part 1: RN1 or RNA or Sub-part 2: RN2 of the UK NMC Register.

Hours of work are: 37 Hours
