Clinical Care Coordinator Veterinary Nurse

We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-oriented Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Scarsdale Vets as a Clinical Care Coordinator on a full-time basis.

This is an exciting opportunity to take on a varied hospital-based role that combines hands on nursing with coordination responsibilities. Ideal for a motivated and organised RVN, this position offers the chance to develop advanced clinical skills in theatre, anaesthesia, and inpatient care, while playing a key role in overseeing the daily workflow of hospital patients.

You'll be working within a busy clinical environment alongside a multidisciplinary team, supporting both first opinion and referral cases, and contributing to the delivery of exceptional patient care and client experience.

How You'll Make a Difference

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse and Clinical Care Coordinator, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high quality nursing care while supporting the smooth and efficient running of hospital workflow.

You'll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for coordinating inpatient care, supporting clinical procedures, and ensuring exceptional standards are maintained across all areas of the hospital.

This is a dynamic role combining coordination, inpatient care, theatre work, and nurse consultations. You will oversee the daily organisation of hospital patients, support advanced procedures, and provide gold standard care throughout the patient journey from admission to discharge.

General responsibilities include:
  • Coordinate daily inpatient workflow, ensuring efficient and safe patient care
  • Deliver high standards of nursing care across theatre, wards, and consultations
  • Support surgical procedures, including anaesthesia monitoring and theatre nursing
  • Provide excellent client communication, including patient updates and discharge advice
