My client sits within a well-established global Lloyd's Broker, recognised for its independence, strong values and client-focused approach.
As part of their growth, my client is further developing its North American Binding Authority division, investing in both broking, technical and operational support. The Client Services team is now seeking a Binding Authority Technical Manager, who can assist with senior technical post-placement support duties, providing leadership and driving a small team forward to success.
The Role
You will lead a team supporting Binding Authority business across Broker Support, Claims, Pro Rata and Non-Proportional accounts. You'll drive service standards, oversee operational delivery, manage workflows and ensure all client activity is handled accurately, efficiently and in line with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support a multi-discipline client services team
- Oversee processing of premiums, claims, accounts and related tasks
- Monitor service standards, identify improvements and resolve issues
- Build strong relationships with internal teams and external clients
- Ensure accurate revenue handling, payment cycles and documentation
- Support projects, performance reviews and team development
About You
- Strong Binding Authority and/or reinsurance experience
- A solid background in a London Market technical position with leadership or supervisory exposure
- Confident problem solver with excellent attention to detail
- Able to analyse financial data and manage deadlines
- Clear communicator who builds trust with clients and colleagues
