Description

An established investment management firm based in the city is hiring for an experienced Client Service Manager. We are looking for a candidate that can hit the ground running managing UK institutional client relationships.

Responsibilities of the role include:

  1. Deliver an outstanding client management experience to institutional clients.
  2. Analyse and resolve complex client issues.
  3. Manage ad hoc requests effectively and in a timely manner.
  4. Project manage the transition of client assets, working closely with legal, front office, and internal operations counterparts.
  5. Stay up to date with knowledge on the industry in terms of products, market changes, and compliance requirements.
  6. Contribute to the creation and delivery of bespoke investment reporting where appropriate.
  7. Lead by example and assist in supporting more junior team members.

Experience required for the role:

  1. Buy-side investment management background is essential.
  2. Experience in the institutional marketplace and strong knowledge of pension funds.
  3. At least 5+ years experience in a client service role.
  4. Strong team player who is also able to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
  5. Industry qualifications would be beneficial.
