Our Client Directors:
- Play a lead role in driving the growth of a consulting capability, key account, or industry sector.
- Develop business through both key account growth and origination of new clients.
- Manage the portfolio of projects on key accounts.
- Lead and oversee client delivery on consulting engagements.
- Build high-performing teams to deliver the work that you sell.
- Offer oversight and direction on internal initiatives and team events.
- Are a senior member of the leadership team and contribute to the operational management of the firm.
What you'll bring:
- c.15-20yrs+ management consulting experience, with recent personal responsibility for leading the growth of a practice, key account, or consulting capability.Unfortunately, we are unable to consider candidates who do not meet this requirement due to the specific nature of the role.
- Expertise in delivering strategic transformation engagements in a sector or capability that you're known for.
- A desire to have personal visibility in a growing firm.
- Demonstrable track record of selling consultancy by successfully growing accounts and generating new business (£1-2m of personally generated revenue per year).
- Dedication to mentoring and leading high-performing teams.
What makes us proud:
- Between Jan '23-January '24, we promoted four of our Client Directors into the Partner grade (including 3 women).
- James Cumberland joined as a Senior Consultant in 2015. He moved to the U.S in 2022 to establish our NYC office and was subsequently promoted to Client Director.
- Grace Blundell leads the Health and Social Care capability at Gate One; part of the Public Sector team. Grace joined as a Senior Consultant in Jan 2018 and progressed to Client Director in 5 years.
- In early 2023, Rob Bradshaw returned from family leave. He has co-led the internal EVP programme at Gate One and helped design our gender-neutral family policies.
- Spiro Comitis has completed a course at the Institute for Sustainability Leadership at the University of Cambridge.
