At Pennard Vets, every visit matters - for both pets and the people who love them. Whether it's a nervous first visit with a new puppy or a worried owner seeking help for a sick pet, the experience someone has when they contact our practice can make a real difference.
That's why our Client Care team plays such an important role. They are often the first voice a client hears and the first reassurance a worried pet owner receives.
We're looking for a Client Care Advisor who understands that balance: someone who is organised and efficient, but also warm, patient and genuinely caring.
As part of our front of house team, you'll often be the first voice a client hears or the first face they see when they arrive. That first interaction sets the tone for their entire experience, so kindness, empathy and clear communication are at the heart of this role.
Your days will be varied and busy. You'll help clients book appointments, answer questions over the phone, via our Pets app and by email, and make sure the practice runs smoothly behind the scenes. You'll also support the clinical team with important administrative tasks and help maintain accurate records. Most importantly, you'll provide reassurance and guidance to pet owners who may be worried or unsure about what to do next.
We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people, who can stay calm and organised in a fast paced environment, and who takes pride in delivering excellent service. Previous customer facing experience is helpful, but what matters most is your attitude - being approachable, compassionate and ready to help.
You'll be joining a friendly and supportive team that cares deeply about both the animals we treat and the people we work alongside. We believe that a positive working environment helps everyone do their best work, and we're committed to supporting our colleagues through training, development and shared experience.
If this sounds like a role where you could see yourself making a difference - supporting pets, their owners and a caring clinical team - we'd love to hear from you.
Please send us your CV and a short note telling us a little about yourself and why the role interests you:
At Pennard Vets, every member of our team is an employee owner of the practice, committed to ensuring our service goes beyond the ordinary. We're creating an environment that looks after the people that look after the pets. We're 125 years old, and by operating in this way, we'll continue to grow for the next 125 years, and beyond.
