Clerical Assistant

We are looking for a clerical team member and to assist with the provision of a comprehensive clerical and office support service to the locality based Facilities team, supporting their day to day responsibilities to ensure that priorities are delivered accurately, timely and effectively. Communicates with organisations and individuals from outside of the Health Board.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
Main duties of the jobThe Clerical Assistants would have either an ECDL or equivalent experience of working with Microsoft Word and Excel packages.
Would be advantages to have experiance of electronic Ordering system such as Oracle which is used to order incoming Goods and receipt invoices for Ysbyty Gwynedd and 8 community sites.
First point of contact for the Facilities Management team by telephone, e mail, and correspondence, or for their visitors or members of the public making contact with them.
Deal with enquiries, message taking and redirected as appropriate.
To assist with taking receipt of goods, booking in and receipting items using the Oracle Ordering System, checking delivery note against and ensuring records are maintained accordingly and items kept secure.

Person Specification Qualifications- ECDL or equivalent experience of working with Microsoft Packages to include Excel and word.
- Evidence of continuing professional development.
- Experience of using databases. Ability to work to agreed timetables/deadlines.
- Experience of working in the NHS.
