Job Description

Required to work 20 hours per week at Glan Clwyd Hospital for the Facilities Team, working hours 9am to 1pm or 8am to 12pm as per needs of service, Monday to Friday.

Main duties of the job

To be an effective member of the clerical team and to assist with the provision of a comprehensive clerical and office support service to the locality based Facilities team, supporting their day to day responsibilities to ensure that priorities are delivered accurately, timely and effectively. This will cover Catering, Domestic Services, and Portering services.

Qualifications
  • ECDL or equivalent experience of working with Microsoft Packages to include Excel and Word.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development.
Experience
  • Experience of using databases.
  • Ability to work to agreed timetables/deadlines.
  • Experience of working in the NHS.
Knowledge
  • Knowledge and understanding of NHS.
Personal Qualities
  • Flexible and adaptable.
  • Ability to prioritise own work against a background of change and uncertainty.
  • Self motivated, proactive and innovative.
Skills
  • Ability to develop and sustain relationships with a wide range of individuals and within a group. Excellent numerate, oral and written skills. Excellent communication skills. Able to work in a busy office environment and deal with a number of different tasks. Ability to prioritise.
  • Knowledge of NHS structures and processes.

Welsh Language Requirements
